Refund Policy

Last updated: June 28, 2026

We reply to every refund request within 5 to 10 business days. If it applies, the money goes back to the same card you paid with. The Service is operated from Honduras under the Brinddi brand, which also processes refunds. This policy is part of your Terms and Conditions and should be read together with them and with the Privacy Policy, which lists the consumer protection authorities in each country.

1.What you get when you pay

Brinddi is a digital service, a web app (PWA). Your event's guests scan a QR code and upload photos and videos without installing anything, and afterward you download all that content. No physical product is delivered. The QR is delivered in digital format, as a PNG, and you decide how to print or share it.

As soon as you confirm the payment you get immediate access: your QR is generated and the plan you chose is saved.

Paying in advance doesn't use up storage days. If in March you pay for an event on June 20, your plan's storage days are counted from June 20, as section 2 explains.

2.When the storage period starts

An event on Brinddi goes through four stages:

  1. The event starts as a draft. You set its type, name, event date, moments, theme and plan. While it's a draft there's no payment and no active QR.
  2. You pay by card through Pagadito. When the payment is confirmed, the event is ready: a "snapshot" of the chosen plan is saved, with the limits and storage days that apply, and your QR is generated.
  3. You decide when it opens. You set the event "live" whenever you want, or it opens on its own at the date and time you configured. From that moment guests can upload content. Before the event you can test it.
  4. Content is kept for your plan's storage period, which ranges from 7 days on the Free plan to 365 days on Premium and is listed in Pricing. Before it ends we send you reminders, 7 days and 1 day before. When it ends we give you 3 grace days, and then the content is deleted automatically and permanently.

Day zero of the storage period is the event date you set. The creation date and the payment date don't count.

3.Withdrawal rights for digital services

The right of withdrawal is the option to change your mind about a purchase within a certain period, and it varies depending on where you live. In Panama, Law No. 45/2007 doesn't recognize a right of withdrawal for digital services. In the Dominican Republic, Law No. 358-05 recognizes a right of withdrawal of up to 30 days for distance contracts. El Salvador, Costa Rica, Guatemala and Nicaragua usually recognize periods of 5 to 8 days, generally with an exception for digital services that have already started. In every case we apply in your favor the period and conditions that your local law makes mandatory, above this policy.

The exception for digital content and services applies when the service has already started with your consent and you acknowledged that, once it starts, you lose the right of withdrawal over the part already performed.

On Brinddi the service starts when, after payment, your QR is generated, your plan's snapshot is set and you have access to the event's features. By completing the purchase you agree that performance begins immediately. You also understand that, once you make substantial use of the service or once the event has taken place, the right of withdrawal no longer applies to what has already been provided.

Nothing above limits the rights the law grants you that can't be waived. If the applicable law sets more favorable conditions in your case, those prevail over this policy.

4.When a refund applies

An event payment is refunded if three requirements are met. The first is that there has been no substantial use of the service: you haven't shared the QR and no real content has been uploaded, as described in section 5. The second is that the payment wasn't previously canceled for a breach of the Terms. The third is that either of these two time conditions is met, whichever is more favorable to you:

  • (a) 7 days or less have passed since the purchase.
  • (b) The event date is more than 48 hours away.

Whichever happens later applies. If you buy well in advance, you don't lose the 7-day right for paying early. If you buy at the last minute, you're still in time as long as your event is more than 48 hours away.

If these conditions are met, we refund the full amount for the event through the same payment method. Tests you run yourself to check that everything works, without sharing the QR with your guests, don't count as substantial use.

5.What we mean by "substantial use"

Substantial use means either of these two actions:

  • Sharing or publishing your event's QR with your guests or anyone else, by any means: printed, on a screen, by messaging, on social media or by email.
  • Uploading real content to the event: photos or videos that you or your guests uploaded that aren't just internal tests.

When either of these happens, the essential part of the service is considered provided and it's no longer refundable, even if the event hasn't happened yet.

6.What isn't refundable

A refund doesn't apply, among other cases, when:

  • The event already took place or the service was already provided.
  • There was substantial use: the QR was already shared or real content was already uploaded.
  • More than 7 days have passed since the purchase.
  • The plan or account was canceled for a breach of the Terms, for example because of prohibited content or fraudulent use.
  • They are credits already used, as described in section 7.
  • The content was deleted when your plan's storage period ended normally, which is an expected feature announced in advance.
  • The reason is unrelated to Brinddi, for example if you decided not to hold the event for personal reasons, if you had problems with your own connection or devices, or if there were errors in data you entered.

Discounts, promotions and balances granted at no cost are also not refunded, nor are differences due to exchange rates or your issuing bank's fees, which are beyond our control.

7.Credits and wallet

Some customers, especially those who organize several events, use credits that are kept in a wallet and applied when each event is activated. These rules apply to credits:

  • Unused credits remain valid and roll over, according to their validity terms. As long as they haven't been applied to an event, we can consider them for a refund under the same principles as this policy.
  • Credits already applied to an event aren't refunded, because they're a service that has already been activated.
  • Credits are used to activate events on Brinddi and, unless the law provides otherwise, can't be exchanged for cash.
  • If you bought a credit pack and haven't used any yet, within the 7-day period we can consider refunding the unused part.

How we value credits in a partial refund

When a partial refund of a credit pack applies, we calculate it like this:

  • We get the pack's effective unit price by dividing the price you paid by the total number of credits it included.
  • Credits already used are valued at that effective unit price and aren't refunded, because they're a service that has already been activated.
  • We refund the unused balance, valued at the same effective unit price and minus any volume discounts you already received.

8.Reseller and white-label packs

Planners, venues and companies can buy large credit packs to resell the service under their own brand, in the reseller or white-label model. These packs have specific conditions:

  • If a refund applies, it's calculated on the pack's unused credits. Credits already applied to events aren't refunded.
  • Reseller agreements may have specific commercial terms, such as validity periods, minimums or volume discounts. If they exist and were accepted in writing, they prevail over the general rules in this section.
  • The reseller is responsible to its own end customers for the policies it communicates under its brand. Brinddi refunds the reseller according to this document and the signed agreement, not the reseller's end customers.

9.Technical failures attributable to Brinddi

If a technical failure attributable to Brinddi keeps you from using the service you paid for, such as a QR that doesn't work because of our error or a platform outage that blocks uploads during the event, we assess it in good faith and act in this order:

  1. Fix the problem in time for your event to go ahead normally.
  2. If we can't fix it in time and the failure essentially affected the service you paid for, you choose between an equivalent credit for a future event and a full or partial refund depending on the impact. None of this limits the rights the law grants you that can't be waived.

This doesn't cover issues unrelated to Brinddi, such as your guests' connection or device problems, or interruptions of third-party services beyond our reasonable control. Let us know as soon as possible so we can help while the event is still active.

10.Early loss or deletion of content

Your content is kept for your plan's storage period, as described in section 2. If, for a reason attributable to Brinddi, that content is deleted or lost before that period ends, or if a failure on our side keeps you from downloading it in time even though you tried, we treat it as an essential technical failure on our part.

In that case we first try to recover the content. If that isn't possible, we apply section 9 and you choose between a credit and a full or partial refund depending on the impact.

On the other hand, deletion when your plan's storage period ends normally, announced in advance with reminders and grace days, is an expected feature of the service and doesn't entitle you to a refund.

11.Content removal at a third party's request

We may remove specific content from your event if a third party who appears in it, or the holder of the rights to that content, legitimately asks us to. We may also do so if the law requires it.

Removing content for these reasons doesn't, on its own, entitle you to a refund. Whenever possible and appropriate, we'll let you know about the removal.

12.Reference currency (USD)

All purchases and refunds on Brinddi are calculated in United States dollars (USD). When a refund applies, it's processed for the corresponding amount in USD under this policy.

If you paid with a card in another currency, any differences you see in your local currency come from the exchange rate and your issuing bank's policies, not from Brinddi.

13.Taxes and fees on refunds

When a refund applies:

  • In a full refund, we return the entire amount you paid, including any taxes applied to that purchase.
  • In a partial refund, we return the corresponding proportional amount, with its taxes in the same proportion.

Brinddi doesn't control the fees charged by the payment processor or your issuing bank, or exchange rate differences. Those amounts depend on third parties, and we can't guarantee or reimburse them.

14.Chargebacks and disputes with your bank

If you think a charge is wrong, contact us first. We can almost always resolve it directly and faster than through a bank process. Opening a chargeback, or dispute, with your bank without contacting us may delay the solution.

  • In the event of a chargeback, we'll present the processor with evidence of the service provided: the date and details of the purchase, the QR generation, the records of the event opening and uploaded content, and the acceptance of these terms.
  • While a dispute is open, we may temporarily suspend access to the event or the associated account until it's resolved.
  • If the chargeback is resolved in favor of the legitimate charge or we detect bad-faith use, we may close the account and reserve any appropriate actions.

15.How to request a refund

To request a refund, follow these steps:

  1. Write to us at hola@brinddi.com from the same email you used to buy. That way we can verify the purchase is yours.
  2. Include the event name, the event date, the purchase date and the reason for your request.
  3. If your case is based on a technical failure, add a short description and, if you can, screenshots or details that help us understand it.

We review every request and reply within 5 to 10 business days. If we need more information to assess it, we'll tell you within that period.

16.Refund method and timing

When a request is approved, the refund goes to the same card you paid with, through Pagadito. We don't make cash refunds or refunds to accounts or cards other than the one you used for the purchase.

How long it takes for the money to show depends on your issuing bank and the processor, and it may take several more business days after our approval.

17.Changes to this policy

We may update this Refund Policy for service improvements, operational changes or legal requirements. We'll publish the current version on this same page, with its last-updated date. Purchases are governed by the policy in force at the time of payment, unless an applicable rule provides otherwise.
